Shenzhen Bonu team 2025 CTCC Season Review

In 2025, the Bonu team from Shenzhen will become a new force in the CTCC China Cup. In the TC3 category, the No. 22 team, which was joined by Li Jiajun and Yu Xiaobo, and joined by specially invited driver Hu Jinkang, gradually improved in the year-round confrontation, achieving 6 appearances, winning a total of two championships, one runner-up and three seasons, and the No. 22 car group also won the third place in the annual Drivers' Cup competition.
In the name of Shenzhen, it will attack national competitions

Originating from Shenzhen, the Bonu team has more than ten years of experience in the automotive aftermarket and modification field, aiming to create a hard-core team with "technology is strength".

Since the establishment of the team in 2022, Shenzhen Bonu Team has continuously written legends on the track with the Zhuhai International Circuit as its strategic base, and has won a number of proud records in many events in Guangdong, which can be said to have accumulated a certain racing foundation. In the 2025 season, Shenzhen Bonu Team will upgrade from a local event to a national stage CTCC, and gradually set its track goals with the concept of "using professional services to serve the track and feeding back technology with the track".

In the first year of participating in CTCC, the Shenzhen Bonu team, partnered by the main drivers Li Jiajun and Yu Xiaobo, drove the No. 22 Honda Fit GK5 car to participate in the CTCC China Cup TC3 group competition. In the face of unfamiliar tracks and extremely fierce competitive environments, Li Jiajun/Yu Xiaobo continued to raise their learning curve and steadily gain event points through continuous practice and exploration.
Suffered setbacks at the beginning of the season and still moved forward

In the opening round at the Shanghai International Circuit and the second round at the Ningbo International Circuit, Li Jiajun/Yu Xiaobo only finished fifth in two rounds and sixth in two rounds due to mechanical failure. However, in the third round of the Zhejiang International Circuit, a serious accident caused great damage to their car, and the two drivers had to bid farewell to the Jiangnan Water Town event in advance.

During the summer break, the cars were reorganized, and the drivers actively adjusted their mentality and practiced diligently to further improve their competitive status and confidence, and returned to the event stage in the fourth station, Inner Mongolia Ordos.
The second half of the race started with frequent podiums

Meeting the challenge of the grassland track for the first time, Li Jiajun/Yu Xiaobo drove the "full blood resurrected" No. 22 Honda Fit GK5 chariot, and soon found the rhythm of advancement on the winding, undulating and challenging Ordos track. The No. 22 car broke into the top three of the group in the qualifying stage, laying a good foundation for the subsequent podium competition. In the unexpected first round of the final, Li Jiajun/Yu Xiaobo broke through strongly and successfully reaped a major breakthrough in their CTCC careers, winning the third place in the category for the first time.

In the second leg of the Ordos race, safety cars were still dispatched continuously due to frequent accidents, and the competition not only became a competition of racing on the field, but also a tactical game between the participating teams. Benefiting from the perfect pit stop timing and efficient and accurate stopping operation of the Shenzhen Bonu team, Li Jiajun/Yu Xiaobo, who started from the third in the group, were able to turn the tide of the battle, and finally jumped to the first place in the group to finish, ushering in the milestone of CTCC's first championship!

Returning to the Shanghai International Circuit in the fifth round, Shenzhen Bonu Team and Li Jiajun/Yu Xiaobo took advantage of the momentum to pursue and continue to play strongly, winning the third place in the first round and the runner-up in the second round, adding two more trophies.
At the end of the season, he won pole position for the first time and won a double trophy

In the final race, CTCC landed at the Hunan International Circuit, and the cold and rainy complex weather brought more tests to the event. Despite this, Li Jiajun/Yu Xiaobo still performed well, and the No. 22 team first made a major breakthrough in qualifying, helping Shenzhen Bonu Racing team to take pole position in the TC3 class of the CTCC China Cup for the first time.

Then in the first leg of the final, Yu Xiaobo was responsible for driving the first stick, and Li Jiajun caught up in the second half of the game. The No. 22 car chased each other on the track and chased second in the class at the end of the race. Although they lost to their opponents in third place in the end, Li Jiajun/Yu Xiaobo rekindled their hopes of hitting the top three results of the year through objective points gain.

In the final race of the season, the No. 22 car used the same driver appearance strategy as in the previous round. Yu Xiaobo cleverly avoided the collision at the beginning of the race and handed over the vehicle to his teammates after driving smoothly. Li Jiajun once again showed strong speed after coming on and locked the championship trophy in the final with a wonderful winning overtaking.

With a wave of 6 consecutive rounds throughout the second half of the season, Li Jiajun/Yu Xiaobo's No. 22 car group finally beat their rivals by 1 point and won the third place in the CTCC China Cup TC3 category. Shenzhen Bonu Team finished fourth in terms of team points.

The powerful female player Yu Xiaobo showed a feminine style, while the technical Li Jiajun conquered the national track with her strength. Shenzhen Bonu ended its first season in the CTCC with a complete victory, and this new team rooted in South China has made rapid progress and has become a dark horse on the track with outstanding performance. Look forward to this pink lightning sweeping the field again next season and competing for higher honors.
